Hey people, it's friday night and Hurricane Isabel is practically over. Sure there is still some winds here and light rain but all that's left is just the after effects. Two pear trees across the street came down. Other then that everything here is fine. Lots of places are without electricity but here at our house it still remains as always. It's still not advised to be going out so I am staying in.
I guess that all means a lot of reading and crap I can be doing for school. BLARGH!

Back and ready for action. Howdy everyone, time for some blog. So they say Hurricane Isabel is going to strike the eastern shore tomorrow. Let's see, many schools have closed already, my school however still remains open for tomorrow. When I got home today my father had put all the pots from the porch inside the garage. He took the deck furniture into the basement and then we carried the bench off of the porch and took it to the back of the house by the basement stairs and turned it over. Mom and I suggested just turning it over and leaving it in the front yard, but NO. It has to be in the back, out of sight because even in a state of emergency we still have to maintain a good looking home because we are Americans and that's what Americans have to do. Right?! So yeah hurricane paranoia is everywhere. Thhe two doofuses of the house are out getting groceries right now just to be safe. I'm sure all the markets are busy right now. Lots of water, milk, bread and toilet paper flying off the shelves. Hmm, I would laugh in their faces if this storm falls apart by landfall or misses us completely. I'm not worried, and school cancellation or no cancellation doesn't bother me. My one class tomorrow is a night class, and if they wait to cancel classes then I'm sure night classes will get the boot. All I'm doing all day tomorrow is working in the lab and editing, which I need to work on anyway.
I started reading the book Snow Crash last night. Good book so far. Funny, satirical, science fiction. Good stuff.

I know I've been slow to posting new blogs lately but I've been busy. Even as I type now I'm not sure of what I am going to say. Well I have 5 photographs to show tomorrow in Advanced photo but I haven't even shot my assignment yet. I don't even have my photo paper either for darkroom work. Well obviously, I need to shoot the assignment first. Classes, work and assignments have been really hectic already which is sort of unusual for me this early in the start of a semester. I have to thank John for trying to clean my camera's mirror and prism today. John, you better practice replacing the foam on another camera before doing it to mine. I don't know what else to say tonight so I will go.

Peace Out

I'm back and smarter too. Medieval Times has come to Maryland! It's time for a great feast, Medieval style and with Pepsi because as we all know Pepsi was very popular in Medieval England. Hey, I bet the King gets free cable.

Ordered tickets for Koyonaskatsi (Not sure about the spelling) in Harrisburg for September 29th. Phillip Glass is performing live with an Orchestra. They are playing the music live to the movie. Seats are in the back though. I hope they don't suck. I saw Zelig, it's Woddy Allen's mocumentary. Very funny.

Ok John I know you are reading this. Why did you join the Army when you are not even sure you want to go? If you wanted, could you get out? I understand your choice for going into their video production or whatever it's called department but it seems a little drastic. Anyway, if you do go I wish you the best of luck with it. I'm sure they explained to you what you would actually get to do and I'd like you to explain it to me. When you came in and told us that this afternoon that was really like dropping a bomb in the lab. It really just came right out of the blue. No one expected it and I wonder how long you have been thinking about it. I didn't mention it to others not knowing if you wanted it made widely known. I guess I'll speak to you about it at school.

Well with that said I'm signing off.
